Message for our brohers and sisters of the United States of America.

We are a french small group of friend and activists, and because the WHOLE WORLD is threaten by the dictatorship of transnational compagnies, and by a deep environemental danger (peak oil, and global warming), we think that we are interessed in the 2008 US presidential elections, because the president of the United States has an enormous power, he is like "the master of the world". So we think both McCain, and Obama are in favor of a military and cupid policy that is A REAL DANGER FOR THE FUTURE OF HUMANITY. OBAMA IS NOT AN ALTERNATIVE, HE IS McCAIN N°2. That's why WE BEG YOU TO VOTE FOR RALPH NADER !!!

Ralph Nader is the third candidate for the 2008 US presidential elections. In opposition to other independant candidates, who are only present on a few states, Nader will be present on at least 45 states. It his the fitth presidential election for Nader, so he is a serious challenger for McCain or Obama. In 2000, he made 2,7% percent.
He was accused to have allowed Bush to win, but, in democracy, every candidate should have the right to be elected. If you are afraid to see McCain president, you could accuse Nader to make Obama fail, but why should Nader exit the election in favor of Obama ? Why not the other ?

Who is Ralph Nader ?

Ralph Nader is a member of the Green Pary. In opposite to the non-deserved Nobel Peace Price owner, Al Gore, (who is also former vice-president of the USA, and made nothing for ecology when he was at the poweri), Ralph nader is not for a false ecology subjected to transnational companies. He is NOT for a false ecology, that could accept the dictatorship of World Trade Organisation, stockmarkets , etc...

He is for organic farming, a non-polluting way to produce food.

He is involved in the altermondialist movement. He already wrote for Le Monde Diplomatique in 1997, the main french altermondialist newspaper (this newspaper founded in 1998 the worldwide association ATTAC - Association for the Taxation of Financial Transactions for the Aid of Citizens). One of the main point of his platform, is to fight speculation: he is in favor of a taxation of transactions, he quote James Tobin. see note n° 1 .

He was candidate in 1972 against war in Vietnam, and is in favor of a decrease of the military spendings, and the dismantling of the atomic bomb.
  He want to stop subsidising bio-fuels (that creates riot of starvations), coal and nuclear energy. He is for a carbon tax, in order to decrease greenhouse gases emissions.

He is for a national health insurance.

Even if he is not explicitely against productivism, he is in the field of  ecology and the preservation of the environnemet much more engaging than Al Gore with his "green capitalism", or Obama, who wants to increase the military spendings. US military spendings are already to 600 billion dollars, it is too much, and Obama want to increase it ! Obama is even no longer sure to be anti-war in Irak and Iran. He give himself away !

He even payed hommage for Harry Truman , the president who launched the atomic bomb in Hiroshima and Nagasaki, he developped the H-Bomb, he launched the Marshall-Plan (who made Europe, a polluting continent). So is Obama, more peaceful and reassuring than McCain ? I think not.

So we find it right, that Nader replace Obama to be THE opponent of McCain. Nader could win against McCain, because he is a real change and a real alternative to McCain. OBAMA IS MC CAIN N°2. We french men, really hope Nader will take the power. We trust a great country like the United States, the country of Abraham Lincoln and Martin Luther King, a country that has the right of revolution written in his constitution, deserve a real change, and a president like Ralph Nader.
